About Caitlin Wright

Originally from Virginia, my passion for soccer brought me to Birmingham, Alabama for college at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). While growing up, I had always been interested in the medical field, but was not sure that direct patient care was the right field for me. I was thrilled to find out during my 2nd year of school at UAB that they had developed a new major: Medical Industrial Distribution. I knew that this was a great fit for me. During my four years working at Cardinal Health I developed valuable time management, organization, and sales skills. I also gained knowledge of hospital purchasing, physician offices, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN), GPO structure, and medical product distribution. After transitioning to the manufacturing business with Coltene, I continued to develop as a sales professional including group presentation and public speaking skills, developing relationships in multiple levels of organizations, and dental manufacturing.
