About Caitlyn Harmison

I am currently enrolled in a LPN program in Martinsburg, WV. My graduation date is June 25, 2014. I am planning to take the NCLEX in July 2014. I have maintained a 3.6 GPA throughout the course of the LPN program. I am class president and have strong leadership and communication skills. I have over hours of clinical experience in nursing homes, hospitals including units such as OB, orthopedics, psychiatric, OB, mother/baby, pediatrics, dementia, and gerontology. I have had experience administering medication, including PO, IV, Push, and injections. I also have experience doing dressing changes and other treatments. I take great pride in my ability to provide patient education on a diverse number of topics. I am confident in my ability to provide a patient with sound information and to connect them with community resources. I love the fact that I am able to build a rapport with each person I come in contact with and am able to help them work towards better health. I am a hardworking, compassionate individual. I take pride in my organization and time management skills. I have sound judgment and work well under pressure. I find teaching thoroughly enjoyable. I am a strong believer in providing care to patients as though they were my own family member.
