Hi, I'm Caleb!I'm currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering with a minor in Enterprise Development at the University of Calgary. I have a growing passion for full-stack development, and I love solving challenging problems.At the University of Calgary, our Solar Car Team is pushing the boundaries of sustainable transportation. As a Team Lead, I play a crucial role in fostering an innovative culture that aligns with our team’s values: to educate, innovate, and inspire. My journey began as a Software Team Member, where I learned the basics of embedded systems programming, full-stack web development, and important principles of software engineering, such as object-oriented programming techniques and Agile development practices. In 2023, I stepped up into a leadership position on the team, continuing to drive our mission forward with the development of our 6th generation Solar Car,"Schulich Helios."In addition to my academic and extracurricular pursuits, I have professional experience in Aerial Surveying for a Geomatics Engineering Firm, LiDAR point cloud data production, and Industrial Equipment Fabrication. In each of these roles, I learned how to better analyze my team's output and created innovative solutions to increase production. This hands-on experience has equipped me with a solid foundation in collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to think and react on the fly.I'm currently looking for a Software Engineering Internship for May 2025. I believe that my experiences and passion for solving complex problems both individually and collaboratively make me a great candidate for any team!
