About Caleb Drumm

My name is Caleb Drumm I am currently a senior at Madonna University majoring in sports management. Growing up I was always an athlete. In high school I played on the Varsity Basketball and Football Team. Another high school experience was joining Camp Darrell AAU Basketball program. That taught me to play with kids I wasn’t familiar with and build relationships with people I didn’t know and to communicate with others. One of my future goals is to shape the youth and give them the tools to be successful adults. I also want to give them opportunities that I had. My Junior and Senior year I played as captain in both sports. As a young leader in high school it has helped me continue my passion for leading as an adult. Throughout my few years of college I have had leadership experiences. My first experience was coaching kids for the Madonna Youth Tournament every summer for 4 years. Over this past summer I had an internship at Airport High School as the Assistant Athletic Director. I learned many different things such as leading a larger community rather than just one team, I learned how to communicate with many different aged people and I also got to further my education in my future career. One quality I learned from the internship was personal interaction. When I was in high school we had an athletic director and he showed me all of the essentials to being an athletic director that truly cares about a program.
