About Caleb Duncan

Thanks for viewing my profile! I've been a full-time student for the past six years, acquiring my Bachelor's and close to completion with my Master's. During this time, I've worked in a variety of positions to get through tuition costs and provide for my family. My desired career is in Christian Education and/or Spiritual Care. My ministry experience includes worship leadership, pulpit supply, teaching, and ministering in a variety of settings. I've been on church staff twice as a student pastor, where I regularly taught and led a student ministry. While working at Lifeway Christian Stores, I enjoyed leading devotionals and providing spiritual care for my coworkers and customers who came in the store. For the past year, I have been guest-preaching at a church in Lousiburg, NC whose pastor has to take frequent active-duty calls with the coast guard. At my current church, I enjoy helping lead worship with the band. Even on my lawn care job, I frequently lead devotions and spend one on one time with members or our lawn crew, where I pray for them and counsel them. From a young age, my parents taught me that everywhere is my mission field, and that I should seek to minister in whatever situation God places me in. I hope to continue doing this for the rest of my life, as providing spiritual care is a needed career field. While studying for a degree in Ethics, I've learned how to help Christians make spiritual decisions in different facets of life, including life & death, war & peace, cultural issues, moral philosophy, sexual ethics, and social action. I'm looking to use this degree for a life in ministry in a position to help provide spiritual care or people from a variety of backgrounds.
