About Caleb Eggert

I have a passion for digital media. Since 2020, we’ve seen a major shift in the role of the digital world. Classes and workplaces are now being held online which means the need for digital media and content creation is greater. I’ve always enjoyed working with digital creation. Some of my skills include Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and FL Studio. Being organized is something that makes my work and life easier. An organized workspace makes me less stressed when it comes down to work. This could be from my desk to my home gym, I find when things are laid out and organized in front of me, I can focus better and work more efficiently. I enjoy being part of a team and my best work comes from working in a team environment. I grew up playing team sports so that aspect is engraved in my personality. I played hockey, baseball, volleyball and soccer. I’ve met some of my closest friends through sports over the years and being part of a team is always a special experience. I decided to take that approach and apply it to my professional work life. I thrive when working in a team environment, whether it's leading the team or being part of the team I’m able to bounce off the energy of others which improves my productivity. Positive relationships with co-workers or management are another thing I appreciate and value. Enjoying whom you work with makes it more enjoyable and gives you something to look forward to. I enjoy building new and positive relationships to expand my network and learn where my skills could benefit others. One of the biggest things I enjoy about my work is the ability to be able to give back or help people. Most of my past work and volunteer experience involves some form of customer service and while everyone knows there can be ups and downs to this, I enjoy being able to make someone's day and leave them with a positive experience. I’ve been on the coaching staff of my youngest brother's hockey team as a trainer/equipment manager and my goal in that experience was to treat the kids as if they were in the NHL. This made their experience of that year positive and made them feel valued and special. I have 7+ years of customer service experience through Canadian Tire, Sportchek and other smaller volunteering opportunities. I am a quick learner and eager to get out into the field to gain experience and put what I have learned in school and previous positions to good use.
