About Caleb Goldfus

As a graduate of Niagara University with a history of having precise attention to detail, I am excited to be building on a career in software development which regularly tests my knowledge and teaches me new things every day. Currently, I have over 4 years of valuable full-time software development and DevOps experience which includes time utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. During this time I have filled various roles including development support, lead developer, and team lead on several projects. These projects had a primary focus on supporting automated insurance claims processes for a national health insurance and healthcare provider with millions of records being processed by my applications every day. My experience has exposed me to and bolstered my proficiency in technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Angular 2+, Oracle SQL, Python, and many more. As a full-stack developer supporting health insurance processes, security has been a vital aspect of my career so as not to expose healthcare patient PHI or PII to potentially nefarious parties. These development practices were enhanced by employing CI/CD pipelines to increase the speed, efficiency, and security of code delivery. I strongly believe that I am an ideal candidate for any software developer position within an organization that strives for success. My genuine interest in emerging technologies as well as my willingness to put forth maximum effort into the minor details makes me a strong asset for any organization.
