About Caleb Jackson

One year from graduating MSU Bozeman as a History - Teaching major, I have participated in various activities within and outside the university landscape. For one I attended the Big Barn Dialogue, one of two students chosen from the entire Honors College at MSU Bozeman, where I was selected for my ability and knowledge of history and effectiveness in listening and notetaking. In addition, I am a McNair scholar, who has participated in the creation process of two undergraduate research projects, one of which I hope to refine and publish in an academic journal. Beyond that, I have worked as a housekeeper at two locations (Gallatin Rest Home and Central Montana Nursing and Rehabilitation Center), a Park Attendant for the City of Billings and currently as a part-time dishwasher for the Yellowstone Country Club. As a result, I have become highly reliable when coming into work and adaptable to my environment to ensure the best quality. For extracurriculars, I am a participant in Model United Nations, Debate Club, Creative Writing club, and have a personal passion for reading and hiking in the beautiful wilderness of North America. Moreover, my research interests include: Eastern European history/historiography, Middle Eastern studies, political/social history, and educational reform.
