What a blast flight instruction is! I’m striving toward my aviation goals and having a great time helping others do the same. After leaving active duty military service to pursue my dreams, in 8 months’ time I was able to not only achieve a lifelong goal to become a private pilot, but to attain an instrument rating, commercial pilot certificate, and multi-engine rating, through Nationwide Aviation’s Elevate program. I have since begun working for Nationwide Aviation as an instrument and multi engine flight instructor, giving my best effort to shape the next generation of safe professional pilots! I am passionate about helping people achieve their learning goals and I get great satisfaction from assisting others toward their success. Through my experience as a fighter WSO, I was trained to operate in a dynamic and complex flight environment and to be an ADM and CRM expert with safety over all else. My first career in the Marine Corps has given me more than 12 years of incredible experiences, growth opportunities, and a broad range of skills in aviation operational planning, recruiting, and safety. I know that my experiences will bring value to creating a safe and productive flight environment. Experience-12 years as a Marine Corps Officer-3 years as a military flight student, learning and performing at a high tempo-2 years 6 months in project scheduling and boardroom briefing at a Fighter / Attack aviation squadron-8 months communication infrastructure, network management, IT helpdesk, Classified Material Custodian-3 years 6 months recruiting management, data analytics, HR, and flight simulator marketing-2 years Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocate-6 years studying and employing (flying) military aircraft and weapon systems across numerous mission types-1 year as a Flight Instructor in Piper Warriors and Tecnam light twins, 750 hrs instruction given in first year.
