With over two decades of experience in the retail industry, I have built a career centered around growth, leadership, and operational excellence. I began my journey in 1998 as a Sales Associate with Pet Supplies Plus in Hoover, Alabama. Through dedication and perseverance, I quickly advanced within the company, ultimately becoming the General Manager of the Tuscaloosa store while pursuing my studies at the University of Alabama. In September 2003, I took the leap and purchased my first Pet Supplies Plus store in Atlanta, Georgia. This entrepreneurial venture marked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, where I honed my skills in business ownership and management. In 2008, I joined US Retail Inc, operating as Pet Supplies Plus, in Dallas, Texas. Tasked with developing the market, I embraced the challenge as the Market Team Leader. Over the years, I spearheaded the expansion of our presence, overseeing the growth from 2 to 33 stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Today, the company boasts 67 stores across 11 states. In recognition of my leadership and contributions, I was promoted to Vice President of Operations in April 2019. In this role, I continue to drive organizational success, leveraging my winners mentality, grit, and relentless pursuit of excellence to overcome obstacles and achieve ambitious goals. I firmly believe that success is not just about reaching the destination but about the journey and the challenges we conquer along the way. With a passion for growth and a commitment to delivering results, I thrive on pushing boundaries and inspiring others to reach their full potential. As Vice President of Operations, I specialize in steering multi-unit operations within the retail sector to unprecedented growth, overseeing initiatives that have consistently delivered revenue in excess of $175M. With a career spanning over two decades, I've honed a strategic approach to scaling operations, enhancing efficiencies, and driving profitability across 65+ stores.
