About Caleb McLean

As Director, Founder, and Lead Technician of Go Live since 2016, I have led the delivery of high-end digital media and livestream productions across a variety of industries. I specialise in installing and maintaining PTZ production cameras, livestream hardware, and IP-based network systems in sports facilities, corporate offices, and event spaces. My role involves configuring static IPs, NDI networking switches, POE-based camera systems, and providing client and staff training on the use of livestream and camera equipment. I manage both remote and on-site technical support, troubleshooting network, connectivity, and production issues to ensure seamless livestream operations. Over the years, I have delivered livestream productions for corporate town halls, AGMs, educational events, hybrid conferences, PPV events, live shopping, fireside chats, and marketing campaigns. I work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate smooth installations, maintenance, and ongoing technical support. I am highly proficient in platforms and tools such as vMix, Livestream, Newtek, Teradek bonding devices, live links, eSIM routers, Netgear and industry-standard network switches, and diagnostic tools such as speed test software. Prior to founding Go Live, I spent over 15 years as an Advanced Rigger and Crane Driver in the construction sector, managing material handling, steel erection, and heavy-lifting operations on major residential, commercial, and industrial projects across Sydney. I’ve contributed to significant developments for companies like Lendlease and Watpac, building a strong foundation in project execution and site leadership. I hold a Master of Property Development from the University of Technology Sydney and an Advanced Diploma of Property Valuation from TAFE NSW.
