About Caleb Mencia

I am an RF systems engineer with a strong foundation in electromagnetics and Antenna Theory, holding a master’s degree in electromagnetics. My early career focused on RF system engineering and design, where I developed a deep understanding of RF systems and antenna design principles. As my career progressed, I transitioned into Digital Signal Processing (DSP), specializing in developing and testing advanced RF systems using RF System-on-Chip (RF-SOC) platforms. I now focus on testing systems end-to-end in both the RF and digital domains; driving innovations and system design improvements. With expanded expertise in signal processing, embedded systems, and full-stack development, I have a solid grasp of challenges and limitations within Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. I’m focused on delivering practical, turn-key solutions that meet real-world needs. While I’m exploring how AI/ML might fit into my work, my primary goal is to deliver efficient solutions without unnecessary complexity. My philosophy is simple: don’t reinvent the wheel—just make smart adjustments to solve real-world problems.
