I started out as a cook. I worked at West Boylston Seafood from the age of 13 1/2 to 18.I did everything from washing dishes to head cook. My boss told me I needed to expand my interests. after I turned 18, I decided to go to Johnson and Wales over in Providence, Rhode Island. I studied Culinary arts for 2 years. And low and behold the college life was not for me. After making my most expensive mistake I started working as a SUSHI CHEF- SAUTE Cook for a year at the Sole Proprietor. this job was in front of the house at the bar. Great experience with people and cooking while under pressure. I loved it but the hours where long and the weeks never ended. I worked 3pm -3am for about a year straight. A gentleman that I had cooked dinner for on countless occasions, Was an Wireless Engineer. He had moved up for Georgia to join the Network team at U mass Health Care. He said he was booked solid and needed help. as we all know the Wireless Technology is expanding and is needed more and more every day. He said with my learning ability and work ethic's I could pick it up and make a living working as a Wireless Tech. I thought about what he said for a week. On my deciding day I had asked my boss at The Sole Proprietor for a raise. the response was I wish we could but I can not. I had hit a glass ceiling.I also had a door opening to get through that ceiling. I took the Wireless Tech Job, at U mass health Care on July 2nd,2007. I have surveyed all the major Umass Hospitals. and By December 2008 i will have Installed a full roll out of wireless access to the 3 Major hospitals in Central Mass University Hospital, Memorial Hospital, Hahnamenn Hospital along with a small scale roll out at our Clinton and Marlborough Hospitals. My goal as of now is To complete what I am asked to do, and to continue working and learning with full diligence and to have respect for my co-workers. In my Eyes the rest will follow. Specialties: Wireless Survey, Installment ( switching, patching, installment,channel Allocation. Non-channel allocation), Troubleshooting( AP configuration problems-Failure and power issues-static, roaming), and Documentation( Excel, Visio, Adobe Photo Shop)
