I formerly worked as a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension researcher. My duties included the following-Managed wastewater systems at the RELLIS Campus -Conducted research over wastewater characteristics on different systems -Shuttled samples to a certified water lab to assure efficient system operation -Tested samples in the field for quality control Through Texas A&M Agrilife, I also was a Teaching Assistant for their REEU program in Summer 2023. I also formerly worked at JNM Technologies Inc, which focuses on building and constructing the finer parts of onsite wastewater treatment. There, I was an Engineering Apprentice. My duties included the following-Construction and application of wastewater pumps and filters -Design of electrical control panels for residential wastewater pumps -Design optimization and construction of skids for industrial filtration -Managed pre-existing on-site wastewater systems and troubleshot any problems on the site -Surveyed land for on-site projects in the future -Created project designs for jobs across the state of Texas -Edited final engineering site proposals As an Apprentice at Hoot Systems L.L.C, I worked hours during the summers since the summer of 2017. I specialized in septic tank installment, pipe configuration, and water flow through the pumps and separation of the respective tanks. Other skills and duties attained here include the following-Coordinated with crane operators to maneuver tanks ranging up to 35 tons -Led and taught inexperienced workers to complete installments of aerobic and anaerobic systems across the country I worked 50+ job sites within my time with both Hoot Systems and JNM Technologies across 10 states. My senior capstone project was designing a concept wastewater treatment system for the community of Pillachiquir in Cuenca, Ecuador. Our design was conceptualized based on efficiency per unit cost, energy uses, and land area use, as those were my team's main constraints. My goal is to be a civil/biological engineer with a specialization in water, as I have always been fascinated with how versatile water is and how impactful a material it is to the world. Whether that be in conveyance, waterwastewater treatment, hydrology, or anything in between, I want to better the world in every way I can.
