About Callia Abbott

I have worked on and off in the restaurant industry for over ten years. During this time, I have gone to college (twice), started my own family, and gained invaluable experience about working with different types of people. As a bartender, I learned how to have thick skin. I had to learn how to take criticism and to keep a level head in times when I was overwhelmed with tasks. Once I started managing, I had to learn empathy. I learned how to work with my coworkers in a different position, and how to still maintain professionalism with those who I once brushed shoulders with. As a parent, I have had to learn patience and balance, and how to push myself through life with a purpose. I ultimately aspire to become a lawyer, and use my undergraduate experience in marketing to open my own law firm one day.
