Background

About Callie Haggerty

I am a dedicated third-year undergraduate honors student in the W.A. Franke Honors College at the University of Arizona, pursuing a major in Political Science with an emphasis in Law and Public Policy and a minor in Spanish. With a strong passion for public service and law, I am excited about my future path as I work to obtain both a Master’s in Public Policy and a J.D, with the goal of becoming a practicing attorney. My diverse experiences have equipped me with a unique skill set. As a manager for the University of Arizona women’s basketball team, I honed my organizational and leadership abilities, ensuring smooth team operations and effective communication. My roles as a private swim instructor and lifeguard have developed my interpersonal skills and taught me the importance of safety and responsibility. Additionally, my work as a legal assistant has given me valuable insights into the legal field and the intricacies of legal support. I am enthusiastic about leveraging my academic background and hands-on experiences to contribute meaningfully to the fields of public policy and law.
