About Callum Argaet

I have spent the past decade specialising in family and divorce law, with the primary goal of helping couples and families achieve practical outcomes with a structured approach that ensures peace of mind. I primarily assist married and de-facto couples and families with the separation of their property assets, helping them divide and transfer a variety of items (including real estate, business interests, companies, trust structures, shares and other investments, vehicles, superannuation and artwork). I also regularly advise on parental orders, divorce, and child support arrangements, and also manage domestic and family violence matters. I represent my clients at all stages of a family law matter – from negotiations and mediations, through to Court proceedings and instructing Counsel at Final Hearings. As someone who has always enjoyed problem solving, I like analysing complex property interests and information until it is categorised and articulated in a structured solution. I enjoy advising on large asset pools relating to family business and multigenerational wealth and am very familiar with the intricacies of this work. Beyond my expertise, I aim to provide my clients with a calm, professional and discreet service – which ideally empowers them to make informed and accurate decisions both in relation to commercial and emotional needs. I am a Townsville local and enjoy being involved in the community, as well as the professional networks within it. I regularly present to my peers in relation to family law updates and welcome the opportunity to collaborate with relevant commercial, financial or psychological advisors who are relevant to my clients.
