About Callum Chilvers

Hi I’m Callum and I am currently seeking new job opportunities that will help expand or develop my current skill set. I am interested in working in fast paced environments, as I like to keep myself busy, and I am driven by meeting personal targets, specifically those that contribute to a team to achieve a goal. I consider myself a very creative and hard working person as I regularly spend my free time painting, drawing or partaking in healthy activities such as going to the gym or hiking. From my initiative behaviour, I decided to pursue my artistic skills and have my work commissioned by interested buyers. This process includes advertising via social media, and negotiating prices, ultimately creating a product that fits my customer’s needs.I recently completed my bachelor of physics degree which I am very proud of. My final project focused on creating a better educational outreach for visually impaired students who are interested in learning about liquid crystals to help motivate young students to pursue a career in STEM. This involved creating my own liquid crystal samples, photographing them under a microscope, and programming with python code under the software "Blender" to create a 3D tactile image that was later 3D printed
