About Callum Hinchcliffe

The Orion AI Governance Initiative is a UK-based talent development scheme designed to equip outstanding students with the knowledge and skills to shape the future of AI governance. Looking for students and AI governance professionals to get involved! About me: Passionate about the governance of advanced AI. I think ensuring that AI is governed safely and wisely is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. Feel free to reach out about anything, or just to say hi! I have strong attention to detail and enjoy creating solid experiences for people. I'm especially interested in working in AI safety or governance, tech policy, security, or international relations. My skillset and experience includes operations, events, facilitation, HR, community management, and research. I quit my job as a digital consultant to work on AI. I did a data science bootcamp, a Research Training Programme, worked as an AI Governance research assistant and facilitated BlueDot Impact's AI Governance course.
