I'm currently working as a Financial Planning Assistant at Hansford Bell following my graduation with First Class Honours from Nottingham Trent University, having studied Economics with International Finance and Banking. During my studies, I earned top marks in Macroeconomics, Risk Management and Portfolio Management Modules, as well as a commendation from my Supervisor for a nuanced dissertation examining the informational efficiency of Financial Markets.During my final year, I also led my team to second place in the national Universities Business Challenge, securing a £500 prize after navigating complex business simulations under pressure.I care deeply about building genuine, long-term relationships with clients, grounded in trust, empathy, and clarity. I believe financial planning should feel approachable and personal — not intimidating — and I’m particularly motivated by the opportunity to help people feel more in control of their finances and their future. For me, good advice isn’t just technical; it’s about listening well, understanding each client’s values, and helping them make decisions with confidence.I'm now studying toward the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, the first professional qualification on the road to becoming a Chartered Financial Planner. A role inspired by combining my financial skillset with my strong love for the outdoors, and sharing experiences. I want to be able to guide people to make the best financial decisions for their future, and take the stress out of money. I hope I can bring peace to people the way nature brings peace to me.
