About Calum Clark

With 10 years of experience, I am seeking a new and exciting role within the construction or mining industry in Australia or New Zealand. I have worked in contracting, consultancy and local authority environments on a range of civil and environmental engineering projects including: site investigation and remediation; ports and harbours; flooding and drainage; wastewater; landscaping; and, roads infrastructure. My main strengths are: contract administration, being proficient in NEC3 and NZS 3910 and now delivering AS quality control, having initiated work towards ISO accreditation at previous employers and gained recognition for successful tenders on a quality basis; site supervision and cross-party communication, which I excelled at in my last role in the UK as Clerk of Works / NEC3 Supervisor; and stakeholder engagement, where I have experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders including elected members, academics, senior local authority management, school pupils and teachers, and community working groups. To date, my main achievement was being the youngest project manager from amongst 16 partners of an internationally collaborative sustainable drainage project across the North Sea, the peak of which was delivering a highly successful international conference for my employer, Aberdeen City Council.
