About Calvin Bond

At the intersection of graduating with bachelors degrees in music and aerospace engineering I decided to pursue a masters degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Florida. In my time as an undergraduate and graduate student at UF I have had amazing experiences from playing with the Gator Marching Band for the London Olympic Games to designing a sandwich delivery UAV with my senior design group. Beyond experiences within the university my time in Gainesville, Florida has given me the opportunity to first intern with and then work full time with ApexTek Labs. ApexTek Labs. specializes in engineering design, prototyping, and manufacturing; and my time working with the company has broadened my technical abilities and professional skills immensely. I look forward to continuing my work with the company and helping to create and launch more awesome products such as the HEXOshelf and the Panel Perch. Aside from mechanical engineering, my passions lie in audio production. I am the owner of AudioFi Engineering, a sound and lighting company based in Gainesville, Florida providing audio visual production services to small and large events. The company frequently runs concerts and music festivals around the North Florida area; events with upwards of attendees. AudioFi also provides services for weddings and corporate events as well as rents equipments to local artists.
