As an admitted lawyer with extensive experience in government at both state and federal levels, I possess a proven track record of developing comprehensive policy, legislative, and operational advice that aligns seamlessly with governmental requirements in intricate and politically sensitive environments. My expertise extends to collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including those at the highest levels of decision-making. Presently, I’m posted overseas at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, in an operational role managing the Australian Government presence in Indonesia. This includes managing daily operations of Australia’s largest overseas Embassy, strategic planning, and providing operational advice. I have also represented Australia overseas in the Middle East, specifically posted to the United Arab Emirates. My role involved conducting in-depth political, economic, and security policy analysis across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This included managing Australia’s participation in COP28. I have represented Australia and its interests at various multilateral forums, including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC), the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and numerous other dialogues.
