About Calvin Silva

Experience as a High School and elementary Chemistry Teacher working in preparatory classes for military tests. Experience in Pharmaceuticals Industries working as Chemical Analyst doing several classical and instrumental analysis like GC, UV, ICP and AA in Quality control area. Acted as substitute coordinator in Quality Assurance actively participating in all processes that are involved in the area like CAPAs, qualification of suppliers, change control, preparation and updating of manuals and training of employees in the area of ​​Good Manufacturing Practices. Member of research project groups at UFRJ, as an undergraduate research fellow, in areas of recrystallization of drugs, raw materials, petroleum fouling and methods of analysis of electronic waste residues that were published in high impact international journals. Worked as Master's student with residues improving several methods of recycling os wasted materials performing techniques like X-Ray Diffraction and X-Ray Fluorescence.
