About Calvin Tan

Hi there, My name is Calvin, and I am a graduated psychology student at Trinity Western in Langley, British Columbia. After my undergraduate, I am working towards graduate school in the near future to pursue my Master in Counselling/Clinical Psychology in UBC/British Columbia to specialized with addictions/trauma-informed. Besides that, I have 5+ years of mental health experience working with different environments such as homeless population, clinical disorders, primary/secondary/tertiary(combination) disorders, and also in shelters/low barrier areas. I have used mostly trauma-informed, person-centered and also emotional-focused cognitive behavioral approaches focused in most of my interactions with my patients/clients in the mental health settings from knowledge, education and experience. Lastly, I love to go to the gym, hikes, do research on current psychology topics, hang out with friends and listening to music during my free time.
