About Cameca Murphy

I am a multifaceted, self motivated social worker that inspires health while aiding physically ill patients and their families. Through clinical coordination, counsel and therapeutic interventions, I assist clients and their families virtually, in the hospital and in their home setting to resolve the social and psychological problems related to their illness. I am a Registered Clinical Social Work intern, on the path to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy counseling and supporting patients and their families regarding adjustments to the disease process and illnesses. I understand the importance of linking patients with systems within the community to provide resources, services and opportunities to achieve and maintain maximum functioning to decrease readmissions to the hospital. Last but not least, I am the CEO of Therapeutic Thoughts. Through Therapeutic Thoughts, I offer life coaching services, geriatric assessments and speaking engagements. I enjoy coming alongside individuals, couples, or groups to counsel them along their healing journey.
