About Camelia Codarcea

With over 18 years of experience in the IT industry, I am a passionate and skilled agile leader and coach, who focuses to create value for both customers and teams. I have a strong background in agile frameworks, as well as a proven track record of organizing, leading and coordinating successful IT projects and initiatives. Neither Agility nor Agile Frameworks are the end purpose – they are just a way to create transparency and trust between business and technical teams as well as provide the context for sustainable, involved, disciplined teams who create the right (useful) product. As an experienced Agile Coach, I am able to very quickly assess if a team and the environment in which that team activates uses "cargo cult" agility or they have understood and internalized what lies beneath agile principles and Scrum/ Scaled Framework meetings. Often many things go wrong, at the same time, in team(s) working for a project. Being able to prioritize what to address first and come with a strategic approach to cover the problems, instead of just a quick patch - is essential in both gaining the trust of those you work closely with and increasing a sustainable approach which is agreed upon and accepted. I also think that each one of us is the Product Owner of our own lives, this is why it is very important to learn to identify our values and beliefs together with the results we want to achieve, so we can effectively prioritize all the requirements that come from the stakeholders in our lives. As Delivery Manager and Site Manager at Coera my responsibilities are to ensure the successful delivery of projects my colleagues are involved in and to oversee the growth of Brasov site in an organic manner. Prior to accepting the Delivery and Site Manager role in May 2022, I worked as an Agile Coach and Consultant for various companies, from small to large corporations, guiding their agile transformation journeys and helping them improve their processes, practices, and outcomes. I also have extensive experience in the NGO sector, as I am the president, initiator, and coordinator of Peak IT Conference, a yearly event organized by AgileHub, an NGO that provides free IT education to adults and children My working in the AgileHub NGO has been the most valuable leadership experience for me.
