Background

About Cameron Akerman-Roberts

I am a recruitment and outreach professional with over three years’ experience building partnerships, engaging stakeholders, and connecting talent with opportunities. My work focuses on graduate recruitment, university outreach, and widening participation, with a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion and social mobility. Currently working as University Network Manager at Sanctuary Graduates, I deliver careers workshops, presentations and events for students across the UK, from undergraduates to sixth formers. I manage relationships with universities, colleges and schools, coordinate large-scale communications, and design strategies that create meaningful opportunities for underrepresented groups. My background includes client management, contract negotiation, candidate screening and campaign delivery, as well as political research and public speaking. I thrive in roles that combine relationship building, problem solving and delivering measurable results.
