About Cameron Bird

I have over ten years experience working in in public safety / emergency management with a focus on operations, planning and aviation roles. The last couple of years have been spent developing an aviation simulator capability for specialist aerial firefighting roles as well as facilitation face to face training programs. in 2017 was deployed to British Colombia - Canada, in a Operations Branch Director role and was responsible for over 100 staff, heavy plant and aviation assets across a number of firegrounds. I am also regularly deployed domestically in operations, planning and aviation roles across all disaster types. I pride myself on being very adaptable and hard working especially towards challenges and/or projects that require out of the box solutions. I am also very capable working with various community groups and demographics including small town, agricultural, youth, large corporations or small social groups.
