About Cameron Campbell
I am currently a member of the Hallé viola section and am due to start as a member of the Philharmonia Orchestra in December 2023. Alongside these positions I freelance with other orchestras including the London Symphony, London Philharmonic, BBC Symphony and Australian World Orchestra. I have also played as section leader of the Bournemouth Symphony, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Ulster Orchestra. As a member of the Southbank Sinfonia in 2014 I performed Bruch's Romance as soloist at St. Martin in the Fields in London. My work with the aforementioned orchestras involves international touring, session work for film and TV, BBC Proms and performances at leading concert halls in the UK and abroad including the Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Elbphilharmonie, Concertgebouw and the Sydney Opera House.
