About Cameron Dalgetty

I have worked in professional sales and management for many years, mostly dedicated to electronics & technology. I began my sales career in the retail space with Future Shop and then moved into distribution in the Security industry with Tri-Ed. After working on the sales counter there and proving my worth to the company I was promoted to branch manager and successfully ran the business building relationships, growing sales and profitability year by year all while building and maintaining a strong group of sales professionals. I stayed there through many acquisitions by companies like Anixter and Wesco, and I am currently with CCTV Direct as the Sales Account Executive for Western Canada. Throughout my career in security, I have gained a wealth of experience and accolades in sales and customer service. Through personal experience and training I have developed solid leadership skills, and my strengths lay in building long lasting relationships and leading a team. Outside of the Security industry I have been involved in the music industry in one way or another since I was 16 years old. Starting with community radio, moving into college and then internet radio for many years, I produced & hosted many shows and conducted well over interviews with musical artists of all levels. I also play various instruments, sing and have been the musical director in bands that played the "A Circuit" of music venues, clubs and bars in Southern Alberta until severe nerve damage forced me to put aside being a professional musician and keep it as a hobby only. However, my passion for music cannot be denied and now in my spare time I book and promote several concerts per year featuring all levels of acts in the best rooms in Calgary. My wife and I created and produce a music festival that is now called The Electric Highway that brings bands, artists, vendors and all kinds of sponsors together with a growing and very loyal fan base. All these activities have turned me into the dynamic sales professional that I am today, and continue to help me find solutions for customers, vendors and my staff on a daily basis.
