About Cameron Ero

I'm a Computer Engineer with over a decade of experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR). I hold a Bachelors degree from a University whose Cyber Defense program was designated a National Center of Academic Excellence by the Department of Homeland Security. In addition I was a member of the University National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition team for 3 years. I started off my career with a managed security service where I conducted security investigations and incident response across a large client base with Mandiant/FireEye Managed Defense. I left to become a founding member of the Okta Detection and Response team which was focused on protecting the Okta service from attack. This role involved significant amounts of AWS focused security investigations and incident response. Most recently I've been a Engineer on the Palo Alto Networks internal security team defending one of the worlds largest GCP environments.
