About Cameron Foley

How does a novice high school teacher end up the general manager of a multi-million dollar business? He realizes that whether it’s a blackboard or a sales floor, it’s all about people and the shared idea that sustainable success is won through the fostering of genuine connections with people in an effort to exceed specific goals. As a store manager with Kay Jewelers, my team and I have consistently exceeded sales plans, including a 5.5% increase in same-store sales from fiscal 2015 to fiscal 2016. I oversaw from dirt to doors-open the construction, the staffing and the training of a new, outdoor-concept location, which achieved profitability within year one. After which, I was designated as a regional, recruiting coordinator, responsible for sourcing, for vetting, and for hiring a motivated and a talented sales force. In this effort, my greatest achievements were earned from fulfilling my greatest passion: helping others to learn and to grow so that they can achieve their own, unique successes. I know I love what I do when I look around the room at a regional conference and I see the faces of my past team members - people I hired, trained, and mentored - who have earned the keys to their own stores.When I’m not on the clock, I can be found at the dog park with my two rescue puppies, Olive and Lucy. If not at the park, then I can be found at home practicing the ukulele, or at a friend’s place for game night.
