About Cameron Gray

I am knowledgeable in marine digital switching system integration, specifically CZONE, Navico’s DDS-2, and Navico’s Egon systems. I have designed, tested, and proven primary DC distribution harnesses for center console offshore fishing vessels. I have a strong knowledge of Yamaha and Mercury outboard rigging systems from mechanical to DEC/DTS controlled systems. I also possess strong knowledge over a wide variety of gauging systems for both engine manufacturers with regards to their installation, initialization, use, and diagnostics. I possess a strong ability to diagnose and correct electrical issues within power distribution systems, engine systems, and chart plotter systems (SIMRAD) I am intimately knowledgeable in the proper use and operation of my multimeter in diagnosing electrical issues. Currently learning the benefits and disadvantages of utilizing an oscilloscope for advanced electrical diagnosis in relation to audio and CAN networks. In my personal time I am hobbyist TIG welder who enjoys aluminum fabrication, Jeep overland adventuring, kayaking, golf, and many other outdoor activities. I grew up in the outdoors and have a deep respect for the environment around me, and do my part to ensure my children have the same opportunities to fall in love with it as I have. I possess an ENTJ MBTI personality type, and thrive in chaotic and challenging environments. My drive to continually become better and seek out new ways to solve problems is strongly rooted in this personality trait. Many other skills are possessed due to the ability to understand complex systems by breaking them down to their core and analyzing the symptoms.
