About Cameron Grimes

I feel my experience at Georgia State University has thoroughly prepared me for this position at this prestigious institution. My 4 years of enrollment at this institution has helped me interact directly with my peers and learn different skills on how to effectively communicate. I’ve also been able to learn about the different technological advancements at the University. Academically, I’ve earned various accolades. I graduated from Georgia State’s Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions in May earning my bachelor’s degree in Clinical Informatics. I took classes pertinent to my major like health policy, intro to information systems, database management, intro to project management, and health economy. I learned the basics of technological applications including tableau, rstudio, mysql and Microsoft project. While enrolled at Georgia State I maintained a 3.35 GPA, made the dean’s list 3 semesters, the president’s list 1 semester and received an invitation to the Georgia State honors college. I also completed a project course which gave me an opportunity to get real world experience by participating in a client-based project. While enrolled in Clinical Informatics program I learned the intricacies of the healthcare field while determining how information technology can be used to make improvements. My long-term goal is to go to graduate school for my MBA/MHA and reach my ultimate career goal of becoming CEO of a major hospital system. I feel my school and work experiences have prepared me thoroughly any position. My proximity to students on campus as well as my involvement in different organizations has given me confidence in interacting with others. I feel that hiring me would be very beneficial to this company. I appreciate your consideration.
