About Cameron Hickman

I am hoping that using this platform it will take me a step closer to helping me achieve my ultimate goal, which is becoming an engineer/ Career in Motorsport I have a huge passion for Motorsport, and great enthusiasm for the future of the industry. With this I love problems solving and maths, finding the best and most efficient ways to solve or better a solution excites me. Also having the ability to take in advice and constructive criticism from others makes me a good team player. Which I feel is vital in Motorsport. I have helped build mainly Ford escort MK2 and Mk1 escorts as well as one Subaru GC8 that regularly compete in competitions around the UK. Being involved through the whole process of building a rally car has given me great skills in multiple area's of the engineering and mechanical side of the process. It has also given me a great understanding of how I need to mentally prepare myself for the challenges ahead with a positive outlook!
