About Cameron Huys

Results-driven and accomplished Marketing and Supply Chain Management professional driven by passion to create memorable interactions and products through supply chain management, inventory, marketing, and promotions coupled with building strong relationships with partners. Proven track record in managing high-profile sports events, event crew, and marketing professionals' teams, and developing value-added promotional campaigns. With Legends Global Merchandise, I work hand-in-glove with the NASCAR licensing group to design and produce trackside merchandise for each ISC race during the season. This involves developing a buying plan, budget, and designs that appeal directly to the targeted market, along with managing product distribution across all selling locations. I then hit the road to manage on-site sales during major events, ensuring seamless post-event wrap-up operations. Over the course of my time with the Athletic Department at Indiana University, I held the position of Head Intern for Marketing, taking charge of the duties of the marketing team during men's and women's tennis events. I acted as a liaison between the coaches and the marketing department by presenting original promotional ideas to increase gameday attendance and fan engagement. I have previously worked as an Event Directing and Marketing Intern at Big Ticket Sports LLC/ Kick it 3v3 Soccer. While working, I attended marketing events, passed out promotional materials, and signed new memberships, which led to heavy sales. Later, I was promoted as a Regional Event Director and planned/run youth soccer tournaments across cities. Outside of professional pursuits, I have been an active participant in several organizations: the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, where I was a New Member Educator and Fundraising Chairperson; and Indiana University's Student Athletic Board. I have a heavy background in sports marketing, events management, and leadership, meaning that I am very qualified to contribute to dynamic teams and drive successful outcomes. I function in fast-paced settings and am passionate about creating memorable experiences for fans and participants alike.
