As a Certified Analytic Broker™ (CAB) he excels at utilizing quantifiable analytics to determine his clients true total cost of risk (TCOR) and tailoring risk management to drive down their TCOR and with a strong underwriting background he is adept at presenting his clients insurance strategies to the insurance marketplace to drive favorable underwriting outcomes. He has provided these services to a broad range of industries and has vast due diligence experience and insurance products for Private Equity / M&A business. Mr. Jones is a member of HUB's National Healthcare Practice Group; a Practice Leader for HUB Texas; A member of Chubb Insurance Company's Commercial Insurance Producer Council and been awarded a Certified Analytic Broker™ (CAB) designation by TCORCalc. Mr. Jones joined HUB International (formerly Wm. Rigg Co.) in 1992 after three years with an affiliate company, RISC Inc. At RISC he participated in the wholesale insurance industry as a Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Broker where he brokered almost every type of P&C insurance imaginable. While there he also supervised RISC's Large Equipment Insurance Program which included Casualty insurance covers. During his career Mr. Jones has served as an insurance underwriter for The Commonwealth Insurance Company, and as an underwriter for several Lloyds of London insurance programs as well as Sphere Drake Insurance. Before coming to RISC, Mr. Jones worked in London, UK as an insurance broker at Lloyd’s of London where he brokered insurance risk on the floor of Lloyds for both marine & non-marine P&C insurance risks for Baine Clarkson.
