About Cameron MacKinnon

I have been in the video game industry for almost 14 years. Starting as a student looking for a summer job, I ended up finding a career. Chronologically, I have worked on the following titles in a tester capacity: NBA Live '98 (PS) NBA Live '98 (Saturn) Diablo (PS) NBA Live '99 (PC) Triple Play (N64) NBA Live (N64) Euro (PS & PC) NBA Live 2001 (PS) NBA Street (PS2) SSX Tricky (PS2) SledStorm (PS2) FIFA 2003 (PS2) I have worked on the following titles, chronologically, in a "test lead" capacity: SSX3 (NGC/PS2/Xbox) Fight Night 2004 (PS2/Xbox) NBA Street V3 SSX On Tour (PS2/Xbox) NBA Street Homecourt (PS3/Xbox 360) I have worked on Turok (PS3/Xbox 360/PC) and an unannounced (but canceled) project on PS3 in a development support manager capacity at Propaganda Games (Disney). I was the first QA employee at United Front Games, and shaped their QA department. I worked on ModNation Racers (a PS3 exclusive) and was working on True Crime: Hong Kong when that project was canceled by the publisher. I have experience using DevTrack and DevTest (from TechExcel), Sharepoint (Microsoft), TeamTrack (Serena), both JIRA and Confluence (Atlassian) for both bug and task tracking, and have had some experience with Hansoft. Specialties: My strengths lie in directly managing a testing team, although I do have experience in working with outsourced/external testing groups.
