About Cameron Nesbitt

Cameron Nesbitt is the Co-Chief Executive Officer, Clinical Director, and Co-Founder of IGCN Health Center. Cameron began his journey of working with the developmentally disabled population in 2012. With initial aspirations of becoming a civil rights attorney, he began his career working with individuals with disabilities while studying African-American studies with a minor in Education as an undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA, Cameron was recognized for extensive academic achievements with acceptance in to both the Tau Sigma and Golden Key Honor Society Chapters of UCLA, as well as being placed on the Dean's Honors List a total of five times. In 2016, he graduated from UCLA, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s degree. In 2018, he graduated from National University, Los Angeles, with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Shortly after, he became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In addition, Cameron is an associate faculty member of National University, teaching graduate-level courses in Applied Behavior Analysis. Designated as an ABA subject matter expert by National University, Cameron has developed a course for the ABA graduate program on Supervision and Management that meets the requirements of the BACB 5th Edition Task List. Moreover, Cameron is a PEERS® certified provider through the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA. Cameron has also been retained as a jury consultant and expert witness to consult in landlord-tenant civil litigation cases involving families with children with behavioral challenges that are facing eviction. He has worked with a variety of individuals with disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Bipolar Disorder. He also has worked with various age populations ranging from early intervention clients to adults, and has consulted in school, home, and group home settings. As a former All-League and Los Angeles All-City Section baseball athlete, Cameron's athletic background provides him with an unparalleled skill set in the field of ABA that incorporates sports and behavior analytic strategies in to programs with clients. He enjoys implementing therapy programs that focus on Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), as well as self-management strategies with adolescents in a NET format.
