About Cameron Rizos

Cameron has over 30 years of experience in marketing, business consulting, strategic planning and business management, with a strong focus in business development, strategic marketing and customer service management. Cameron has been recognized by the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce for his marketing efforts, being nominated for a SABEX Award in Marketing twice, and winning once. Cameron has considerable international experience as well, having worked extensively in Latin America for over 10 years, including a posting as a Commercial Officer at the Canadian Embassy in Ecuador. Prior experience has included management and marketing positions, entrepreneurial experience, and considerable business development experience in domestic and international consulting projects. In addition, Cameron has served on the Boards of industry-based associations in Saskatchewan focused on environment, export, and research and development. Currently he acts as the Business Development Representative for Loblaw Companies Wholesale operations in Saskatchewan. In this capacity, he is responsible for marketing and advancing sales to the food service industry in Saskatchewan. In previous consulting roles and contracts, Cameron has consulted to several private and public organizations, with a strong focus on developing, coordinating and delivering projects, many with a technical component. Previous employment and consulting assignments have provided Cameron with considerable experience in a wide variety of industries, including; international trade, agricultural production and exporting, education and training, and economic development, with particular focus on the tourism, hospitality, and food and beverage industries. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
