About Cameron Schmidt

An experienced project, program and commercial manager, I have extensive expertise in delivering complex software to large organisations.My key skills lie in bridging the worlds of business and technology, particularly in the field of crafting winning responses to RFIs and RFTs, along with compelling individual proposals for smaller projects. Engaging people through clear communication is second nature: all my recent roles have required me to ‘translate’ complex information between stakeholder groups in a way that not only facilitates understanding, but also engages and inspires.My customers have ranged from start-up eCommerce companies to Tier 1 Australian organisations in telecommunications, financial services and transport. Through managing the commercial and contractual arrangements of a software development and professional services company, I have also built a strong background in contract management, including negotiation of multi-year service agreements with large organisations.With a strong interest in community and environmental issues, I led Unico's Community Fund for nine years, contributing pro bono work, volunteering time and money to improve the world around us.
