I am a third year student studying a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Auckland, majoring in economics and finance. I'm passionate about helping the world become more fair and equitable with equal opportunity for everyone, so our future generations can enjoy a more prosperous future. I want to make a positive impact. This is why I believe in building upon the framework of my economics and finance degree, going from understanding the impacts of decisions to learning how I can make an impact as I further my career.Participating in various extra-curricular university clubs, volunteer organisations and part-time work has allowed me to expand my skills and continually develop as an individual. As I progress in my career, I want to constantly seek new knowledge.My diligence and hard-work has been recognised in both professional and academic environments, resulting in success across all areas of my life. As a driven individual, the common goal in a team environment is always my motivation. Through the various leadership positions I have held in school and professionally, I seek to understand everyone's perspectives as we work towards the common goal.I am a positive, reliable, ambitious individual motivated by a strong desire to learn, work smart and hard. I learn fast and listen while remaining clear minded and logical in problem solving. I have a high work rate and believe in quality task completion. As an easy-going person with excellent communication and conversational skills, I enjoy working with vibrant teams in a fun environment.Outside of university and work, I enjoy training for half-marathons, travelling to experience new cultures, socialising and exploring the outdoors.
