About Cameron Speer

With over eight years of experience in education and program development, I am passionate about creating and delivering engaging and effective learning experiences for diverse learners of all ages. I am looking for growth opportunities where I can apply my skills in curriculum design, instructional technology, and cross-cultural communication to support students and educators in various settings and subjects. Previously, I was a Program Developer and Instructor at Avenues: The World School, where I spearheaded the entire Learning and Wellbeing program from its inception, including writing and implementing all curricular materials and designing all digital resources and tools. I also organized multiple events with accomplished guest speakers, such as the Major Gifts Manager of Malala Fund, and received commendation and positive feedback from families and in yearly performance reviews. In addition, I have been a Freelance Transcriptionist/Captionist since 2017, providing accurate and timely transcription and captioning services for various clients and projects. I am proficient in English while also learning Spanish, Mandarin, and ASL, and hold multiple certifications in ECE, substitute teaching, TEFL, TKT Young Learners, and CPR/AED.
