About Cameron Steere

I am currently a student at Utah State University working towards my Bachelor of Science in Finance and my Bachelor of Art in Music. I am also working on three minors which include Personal Financial Planning, Accounting, and Portuguese. Along with being a full time student, I am currently working as a Financial Service Representative for USU Credit Union. Aside from school and work, I am also involved in several ensembles and have certain leadership responsibilities in my church. All of these aspects of my life have helped me to develop some valuable skills: Strategic Planning: It takes a lot of time to accomplish all of the things listed above, so it is imperative that I be wise and strategic in my planning so that I am able to optimize my time. Brazilian Portuguese: I consider myself proficient in the language which means I can read, write, and speak the language well and can communicate with a native speaker with little to no misunderstanding. Active Listening: Whether I am in a rehearsal trying to listen to and blend with my fellow musicians or I am sitting at a desk conversing with a member, active listening is a key skill to ensuring I perform well in my job. Prioritization: As I mentioned before, there are many things that demand my time and attention. It is crucial that I am able to sort things out by priority to make sure I am optimizing my efficiency.
