About Cameron Tescher

I am a recent graduate at UC Davis with a major in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology looking for field work opportunities. My primary work as an undergraduate was with a research project with the nocturnal flight calls of songbirds in the Central Valley. I have also worked with banding songbirds as an undergraduate intern with Point Blue Bird Observatory as well as chicks in nestboxes for the Museum of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology. I have worked on various point count and transect surveys throughout Putah Creek and a private property in Glenn County on what bird species occur. I was also a principal horn player with the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra. I am very passionate in birds as I spend time identifying and going out of my way to learn about specific species as well as with marine life. I am also very interested in music and politics as well.
