Background

About Cameron Turner

I am a Project Manager in the critical environment space at McKinstry, focused on mechanical systems and operational efficiency across complex MEP infrastructure. My work centers on mission-critical facilities where reliability, redundancy, and performance are non-negotiable. I lead projects that improve system resiliency, optimize operations, and align engineering execution with long-term facility strategy. Before transitioning fully into the private sector, I served as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army, where I led teams in high-pressure environments and managed large-scale infrastructure and logistics operations. That experience shaped my leadership style and instilled a disciplined, systems-based approach to problem solving that I carry into every engagement. At McKinstry, I operate at the intersection of engineering, operations, and data. I work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency improvements, strengthen maintenance and asset strategies, and support performance-driven operational models in critical facilities. My focus is not just on delivering projects, but on building systems that perform reliably over time.I recently completed my MBA and Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics at LSU. This education strengthened my ability to combine engineering execution with strategic decision-making and quantitative analysis. I am passionate about leading high-performing teams, improving complex systems, and delivering measurable impact in mission-critical environments.
