About Cameron Walker

I am an architect with 10+ years in the industry, and get to design everything from schools to coffee shops to farm stands and houses. I am focused on human-centered design, which gets channeled through keen listening skills, empathy, a tenacious design sense, and a broad technical knowledge base. Understanding and coordinating many disparate systems and disciplines is at the core of what I do. My job requires working and collaborating with many vested parties to create a cohesive, functional, and beautiful design solution. Outside of work, I love to dabble in many activities - and dive headlong into others. I am particularly passionate about photography (I am drawn to capturing personal identities through photos, especially). I love to hike, camp, and backpack, and have recently explored the mycological wonder of mushroom hunting. I also love the great indoors, and partake in gaming, movie-watching of all sorts, reading fiction, and sketching things both inside my head and out of it. My biggest drive is to experience the best that life has to offer, shape the things I think I can change, and help others achieve the same.
