About Cameron Whigham

Kennesaw State University graduate with a mind for business and design. Traditionally trained in mechanical engineering, I possess the skill set necessary to design, analyze, and optimize. During my undergrad I minored in aerospace engineering, a curriculum that warranted four design projects in addition to those required by my major. While at Kennesaw, each summer I participated in either an internship or research that applied and expanded my knowledge of the industry and the tools that are used and created. Upon graduation came the pandemic which had negative effects on the job market. Unable to find a job, I created one. I founded a small startup to help other startups that were forming at the time. In running a business I learned how to generate leads not only for myself, but some of my clients as well. During my time as an entrepreneur, I've created several products and managed their development. This taught me how to procure, keeping budget and timeline in mind, while building and managing relationships with vendors. As my clientele grew, so did my organization and presentation skills. Projects became numerous and I had to learn proper time management in order to deliver satisfactory and timely results. As my client base became more varied, so did my knowledge which grew with my ability to adapt quickly. While not related directly to engineering, I still found myself applying its core modus: breaking things down to their fundamental elements, figuring out how they work together, and making improvements where possible efficiently and ethically. I am confident I can combine the knowledge gained through all of my experience into a more than competent candidate for your company in either sales, design, or even project management.
