About Cameron Wielders

Cameron has knowledge & experience across a range of operational functions, but his specialties and interest lie in 365 and Entra / Azure based operations and identity management in conjunction with Defender for Endpoint and Intune device management. Cameron seeks to ensure Developers & C-Suite can securely & efficiently do their job, as well as pro-actively seeking to monitor and improve internal environments and workflows.Cameron’s current employment commenced with a migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint online and the adoption of Office 365 services for end users. Cameron’s daily operational tasks include but not limited to SharePoint online administration, company intranet and hub site management, user and group access management and administration across various services including Intune device enrolment and management. Implementation of Defender for Endpoint and Intune and identifying and resolving vulnerabilities on network environments, as well as monthly patch management for end user laptops, servers, and virtual desktops utilising intune and sccm group policies. Prior to joining SRA, Cameron worked for the South Australian Department of the Premier firstly in the SA gov asset management team, then as a service desk officer, then a cloud services coordinator where Cameron assisted the infrastructure team in an across government large scale migration from Exchange 2013 to Exchange Online, as well as assisting in the adoption of Office 365 for government agency end users, enjoyed hosting training workshops on the different applications under Office 365 and ensuring the end user could seamlessly migrate to, and adopt Office 365 services. Cameron's vision would be to implement & promote sustainable, renewable energy to support cloud and hybrid resources, and the devices used to access them, in alignment with the best cyberops security practices.
